The Big Day Out in Harmony 2017 will be held on the lawns of Alice Springs Town Council on at 2-5pm on 13 May. This is one of the major multicultural events in Northern Territory.
This year, the Big Day Out will showcase a wide array of cultures including Indigenous Australians, Maoris, Chinese, Korean, Sudanese, Ethiopians, West Africans, Filipinos, Greeks, Indians, Afghans, the Islamic Society and the Latin groups through music and dance shows.
With 20% of its population identifying as indigenous Australian, Alice Springs proudly celebrates its multiculturalism, cultural heritage and diversity.
