Research Consultant
Jessica joined the CIRCA team in 2008. Her previous work with the Benevolent Society saw her conduct evaluations and qualitative research for services in the areas of domestic violence, natural therapies, older and younger women, children and transition to school, families and communities.
Jessica has also coordinated several capacity building projects and is skilled at working with sensitive issues. She has experience documenting service models, developing research capacity and designing consultation methodologies and evaluation systems.
The International Studies part of her degree took Jessica to Chile where she studied for a year conducting research in Spanish in the areas of domestic violence and lesbian political action in Chile. Her qualifications and experience teaching English as a second language in Sydney and abroad have equipped Jessica with good cross cultural communication skills, and working on a range of creative community development projects in a volunteer capacity has provided her with first hand knowledge of community issues.
