The 2018 Netball Oceania Cup will launch on 16-17 March, and there is only one week left to register your team for this fun community netball tournament.
As a company we are incredibly supportive of Netball’s inclusive initiatives like the Oceania Cup with our Managing Director Pino Migliorino one of the inspirational leaders guiding the One Netball Advisory Group as well as participation by our staff in the All Stars Harmony Day Netball Match last year.
This week Oceania Netball Cup ambassador Kristiana Manu’a, (GIANTS Australian Diamonds representative) visited Westfield Sports High and Hills Sports High School to meet aspiring netballers and promote the upcoming Netball Oceania Cup. Enjoying being outside and running the sessions with eager young netballers, Manu’a was able to share her love of netball with the next generation players.
The Oceania Cup is a festival of netball to celebrate Polynesian, Pafici and Indigenous Cultures. The main focus of Cup is about inclusivity, with a strong message that everyone, regardless of background or ability, is welcome to the sport. We encourage friends and family members to create teams or enter your 2018 Club team into a preseason warm-up competition.
Head down to Liverpool Netball Association to enjoy face painting, kids activities, music, food and netball skill sessions. Netball NSW encourages participants be as creative with your uniform as possible so don’t forget to dress up in your best colours!
