This Saturday 6 May, the Sunraysia Festival 2017 will be held in Nowingi Place, Mildura, Victoria. The festival is an opportunity for community members from a whole range of cultural background to gather and celebrate, including Afghanistan, Burundi, Mauritius, Nepal, Sri Lanka, to just name a few.
Sitting on the banks of Murray river, Mildura is a beautiful Victorian regional city offering not only abundant fresh local produce but also cultural experience. The cultural diversity of Mildura increasing with 16% of its population born overseas and 29% of the population having at least one parent born overseas.
