Capturing Diversity Youth Photography Showcase will be held at Create or Die, a cutting edge creative space, on 16th June next month.
This fantastic exhibition gives young people in the Inner West area an opportunity to tell their own stories, reflecting on the themes of belonging and inclusion.
With 26% of the Inner West population falling into the 9-18 age group (2011 Census, Australian Bureau of Statistics), the exhibition is bound to present a collection of outstanding photographic artwork entries that tell innovative, unique and colourful stories that speak from the heart.
Brought together by Ethnic Community Services Co-Op and the Open Inner West festival June 2017 this exhibition will be one which recognises the great value in hearing from the diverse voices of our youth. We bet all in attendance will learn a new thing or two!
The Showcase will open on 16 June from 6 – 8pm followed by two further where the great works will be open to the public.
