Gold Coast will present its multicultural festival in the Southport Broadwater Parklands on 6th August, showcasing its cultural diversity of the Gold Coast and Southeast Queensland.
Inaugurated in 2008, the Gold Coast Multicultural Festival continues to deliver its mission of showcasing the talents and skills brought in by the increasingly diverse community. This year, there will be cultural performances on three stages, international food, arts and crafts stalls and workshops, as well as fun activities for family and kids.
It’s exciting to see there are so many multicultural festivals across the country. Celebrations such as these bring people and community together, creating a greater harmony among various cultures. Wherever you are, you have an opportunity to see and feel that Australia is becoming more and more diverse.
