World AIDS Day 2017

Today is World AIDS Day. There are 36.7 million people living with HIV around the globe. With the slogan “Everybody Counts”, World AIDS Day 2017 continues to advocate access to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines as well as health care services for all people in need.

On this day, we would like to help support and promote the new home HIV test, Dried Blood Spot (DBS) HIV test, a free, easy, reliable and convenient tool kit that allows individuals to order a self-sampling kit online, take their own blood sample in the privacy of their home and send it to a laboratory for testing and results management. The free testing kit can be ordered at http://www.hivtest.health.nsw.gov.au

The new toolkit has animations and messages available in English, Chinese (Simplified), Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese.
