With the theme “Building on Our Diversity”, the Children’s Festival 2017 will showcase a spectacular program performed by almost 30 groups from different cultural backgrounds at the First Fleet Park, the Rocks, Sydney. The festival expects thousands of families and children to have a day of fun in a welcoming and deeply multicultural environment.
The Children’s Festival is one of the most prominent multicultural events in Australia. Through watching children’s parade and costume displays, kids will gain some basic knowledge about different countries and cultures. More importantly, the festival provides families from all walks of life the opportunity to have fun together and share in Sydney’s wonderful myriad of cultures which is the epitome of the festival moto “Play Together and Live in Harmony”.
