professional summary
Jessica commenced her career at Cultural Perspectives as an Administrative Assistant, before being promoted to Administration Executive Officer and subsequently to Office Manager. These evolving roles have been blended to create a comprehensive position through which support has been provided to the Managing Director, Executive Team, and Consultants across project delivery, administrative coordination, and various ad-hoc tasks. Responsibilities have included coordinating meeting papers, interstate travel, scheduling of interviews and meetings with community members and Government Ministers, event organisation, collateral production, report formatting and editing, diary management, and budget monitoring.
Both in-house and on-the-ground administrative support has been provided at events, workshops, and meetings. Jessica has managed all travel bookings and arrangements for Consultants and subcontractors, many of whom travel nationally and to regional locations. Additional responsibilities can include finance support, overseeing the current project management system, technology support and equipment and supply procurement.
Over time, Jessica’s responsibilities have evolved in alignment with the varying needs of consultants and her own developing skill set. For the past eight years, Jessica has acted as the primary contact for all meetings involving the Managing Director, managing diaries for both internal and external engagements, including those with Government Ministers and executives from community and corporate sectors.
Jessica plays a key role in the design and selection of campaign collateral, acting as the primary point of contact both within the organisation and with external suppliers. As the Website Coordinator for the MiAccess (Multilingual Information Access) platform, she leads all aspects of website maintenance, content development, and information uploads.
In 2019, Jessica successfully managed the relocation of the office after 19 years at its previous location. This project involved overseeing the archiving and secure disposal of confidential materials, as well as coordinating the planning and implementation of the new office fit-out.
Jessica is also the convener of Cultural Perspective Group’s Reconciliation Action Plan and maintains due diligence in its compliance and implementation.
