Community engagement

Issue: 
Metro Assists, formerly Metro Migrant Resource Centre (MRC), asked DiverseWerks to conduct a community engagement consultancy for the Southern Sydney Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service (SSTAAS).

Solution: 
The consultancy comprised the development of two information kits, the rewrite and redesign of the existing SSTAAS brochure, and the creation of content for the Inner West Money Content site.

The first information kit was about the Inner West Sydney Financial Counselling Service, and included content around the financial information needs of newly arrived communities in the Inner West, older residents from more established communities, and younger and middle-aged residents. The second kit focused on the Southern Sydney Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service, and targeted community and government workers, and focused on tenancy rights and obligations.

Results: 
DiverseWerks presented Metro Assist with two finalised information kits, a redesigned SSTAAS brochure and newly created material for the Inner West Money Content site.
