Volunteer and Make a Difference!

The NSW Government has launched a volunteering website in partnership with SEEK Volunteer that serves as a volunteer recruitment portal, free to use, to make it easier for volunteers to get involved.

We encourage people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to take advantage of this website for finding your volunteering opportunities. As Ray Williams MP, Minister responsible for Volunteering and New South Wales Minister for Multiculturalism and the Minister for Disability Services, pointed out: “Volunteers and volunteer organisations strengthen our communities and I encourage everyone to get involved because you can make a difference.”

Volunteering is a great way to understand the Australian society in terms of its social structure, social issues and needs. It’s also a great way to meet new people to get connected. It is a unique experience that you can choose to create for yourself. Volunteers come from all walks of life including working people, students, professionals, retirees, etc. They contribute their skills and time to the much-needed individuals and organisations.

Join more than six million Australians who volunteer - there is a role to suit you. To look at the website, please go to https://www.volunteering.nsw.gov.au/home
